Andrew Wilber has expertise in hematology and immunology. His laboratory is interested in understanding the role of the tumor microenvironment in suppressing anti-tumor immunity. Current efforts are examining deficiencies in natural anti-tumor immunity in patients with advanced kidney cancer. Specifically, his group is studying alterations in natural killer cells within the blood and tumor of these patients. These changes prevent natural killer cells from destroying kidney tumor cells. Prevention of these processes may be an important goal of future tumor therapy.

Masoud H. Manjili is an Associate Professor in the department of Microbiology & Immunology in the VCU School of medicine, Massey Cancer center, USA. He obtained his PhD from Sydney University in 1996. He was also an affiliated member in Roswell Park Cancer Institute (2003-2004). He is an associate Editor of Journal Frontiers in Tumor immunology. In 2001, Dr. Han obtained his Ph.D degree in clinical hematology from Chinese PLA Postgraduate Medical School, and worked in Dept. of Molecule & Immunology of Chinese PLA General Hospital. In 2003, he did postdoctoral work at the University College London. In 2006, he was promoted to professor of molecular and cellular biology. Now, he is the Director of Dept. of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Director of Clinical Translational Ward, the General Hospital of PLA. Since 2001, he focused on mechanism research involved in cancer-treatment resistance and clinical translation of cell therapy. He has published over 80 articles.

He is a Chartered Scientist granted by the Science Council (UK), a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner (HK), Guest Professor of a number of Universities and a Fellow Member of several institutes, including the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK), Hong Kong Institute of Biomedical Science and Hong Kong Society for Molecular Diagnostic Sciences. Dr Cho has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers He serves as the editor-in-chief, editor and associate editor of a number of international medical journals.
